OUR CLIENTS / CONTRACTORS

You built the space.
Let the windows finish the story.

Final window detailing for builders and contractors who want the handover to feel finished. Plan the clean around the glass, the remaining trades and the day the property needs to be ready.

THE RIGHT SCOPE FOR YOUR PROPERTY

The final detail deserves
its own place in the schedule.

New windows are not automatically straightforward windows. Factory coatings, labels, construction residue and ongoing work all affect the approach. We separate the final presentation clean from earlier construction cleaning and specialist debris removal, so everyone understands what is being delivered.

Final handover detailing.

Review interior and exterior glass, accessible frames, sills, tracks and screens once dirty trades are complete. Coordinate access and a responsible site contact.

Glass and coating compatibility.

Share the window schedule and manufacturer guidance where available. Existing surface treatments and glass type influence tools, cleaning products and protection.

Clear exception handling.

Paint, silicone, mortar, adhesive and significant contamination need separate review. A later trade-related re-clean is separate work, not an assumed part of the final detail.
PLAN AROUND THE PROPERTY

A better handover starts
with a better brief.

Before we quote.

Send the town, project type, window information and desired handover date. Tell us what remains on site and which areas will be accessible.

Before we mobilize.

Confirm dirty trades are finished, openings are accessible and the windows are in the expected condition. Changed conditions can change the scope or timing.

Before you hand over.

Agree who will review the work. Discuss any remaining damage or specialist items separately from cleaning so there is no confusion about what was completed.

Before the handover clean.

A ready site makes the final detail more useful. Run through this list with the site contact before we confirm the visit.

  • Confirm which dusty or wet trades are finished, and what work remains near the windows.
  • Provide window and glass manufacturer information, including known films, coatings and care restrictions.
  • Identify labels, adhesive, paint, mortar or other bonded residue for separate assessment.
  • Agree safe access, water availability, parking and the person responsible for the walkthrough.
  • List existing damage or unresolved glazing issues before cleaning begins.
  • Allow for separately agreed re-cleans if later trade work soils completed glass.

Routine cleaning is not a promise to remove every construction deposit. Scratch repair, seal failure, etched glass and damaged finishes are not resolved by a final clean.

You should be able to understand the work before deciding. Our Process explains the sequence and the decisions that matter for the windows.

QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING

Before we arrange the visit.

The trades are not finished. Can we still talk?

Absolutely. We can discuss the brief and sequence now. Final detailing is planned for the appropriate stage; earlier construction cleaning is separately scoped.

Is bonded debris removal included?

Not automatically. Paint, mortar, adhesive and other bonded contamination need a surface-specific assessment and an agreed scope before treatment.

Can you guarantee the requested handover date?

A requested handover date is not a reserved appointment. Timing depends on scope, readiness, access, travel, weather and actual crew capacity.

Can you apply protection to every new window?

No universal assumption is safe. Existing coatings, glass type and the manufacturer’s instructions must be checked before a treatment is selected.
